My Wedding Report

Hello! Thanks for coming to visit my blog! So for starters my name is Michelle and my fiance is Mark. We got engaged on May 17th 2008 and are getting married September 6th 2009 in San Diego. Yes, I know that is a long engagement. But basically the brief reasoning for that is I am currently in graduate school getting my Masters in Clinical Psychology. I finish in June and then will have about 2 months to get all the last minute details of the wedding and our life put together before we get married. We are super excited and time is already flying by!

Mark and I love being creative together and being able to put a personal touch on everything. While we share some talents, I’d say many of them are vastly different and that is a big bonus when it comes to wedding planning. We basically have everything covered from website programming, graphic design to paper crafts, sewing, event design, carpentry and just general organization. Hopefully it is all going to come together, but I guess you will be finding that out along with me in the coming months.

I hope to share all my planning details and ideas on this blog, along with all other things “wedding.” I have already found so many different wedding blogs, discussion boards and wedding websites to be inspiring and incredibly helpful (You can find the lists throughout my website and I will be sharing as I discover more). I hope that my blog can provide the same help and inspiration for other brides-to-be or just people who love weddings. Mark is also planning on blogging once in awhile on the site as well. This will be a wonderful way for you to get the groom’s perspective and also have him share his many talents that are being used in our wedding.
